# Connect your agent

Choose the agent you want to connect and follow its setup page. This step connects the agent's harness to the runtime on this machine. Installing skills alone does not connect an agent.

## Check it worked

Run the harness sync or verification step documented for your agent. Its runtime installation should be connected and the harness should be ready to make a governed call.
